Who we are

Calvary Assembly is a church for the whole family. It is a local church affiliated with the Assemblies of God, an international fellowship of evangelical churches.

We exist to reach out to the unchurched of central Nebraska and help them become mature, lifelong followers of Christ. We do this by intentionally engaging our community, investing in families, and equipping believers for service.

Calvary has weekly services for the whole family, designed to connect families to Christ and to each other. Services include uplifting contemporary worship, practical Bible teaching, and an opportunity to make a decision to follow Jesus. During each Sunday service, there are special services geared especially to kids in nursery, preschool, and elementary.

On Sunday morning, our Christian Education classes start at 9:30 AM (in English and Spanish) and our worship service is at 10:30 AM. We also have a Spanish language service at the same time. At 6:00pm you can join us for Sunday evening worship or Life Groups . On Wednesdays at 7:00 PM we have Family Night activities for the whole family—a Christian Life class for adults, One More Student Ministries service for teens, exciting, fun programs for kids, including K-Motion preschool ministries and Power Kids for older kids.

Our greeters are here to help you and can answer any questions you may have.

We hope you find a warm, welcoming atmosphere when you walk into Calvary Assembly. You will see a wide variety of clothing styles—from suits to jeans and shorts (even in the winter), from dresses to capris. Jesus spent time with people from all walks of life with all sorts of clothing- He’s not worried about what you wear so neither are we.
