Our beliefs

The Bible…

The Bible was given to be our authority and standard of truth. It was written by humans under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit… not just their own ideas.

2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 1 Thessalonians 2:13

Trinity…

God is a single being consisting of three interrelated persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit… One God but three persons.

Matthew 28:19-20

God the Father:

God is great and has all authority. He is all-powerful, all knowing, all loving and ever present. God is good, loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and promises.

James 5:14-16, Matthew 8:17

God the Son:

In Jesus, God became man. He was completely human, but at the same time, completely God.

Hebrews 12:2, John 1:1-3

God the Holy Spirit:

The Holy Spirit is a person in the form of a spirit. He displays God’s wonder in our lives and in the world.

John 14:15-17, Ephesians 5:18

Man …

Mankind was created good and upright; man was created to have relationship with God.

Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 3:1-19

Salvation …

God loves us just as we are, but loves us too much to leave us there.

John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 8:16, Luke 19:9-10

Water Baptism …

Water Baptism is where we identify with Christ.

Colossians 2:12, Romans 6:4-5

Life Change …

After we have stepped over the line into God’s kingdom we are to begin purifying and separating ourselves from our past way of living.

2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 12:2, 1 Thessalonians. 4:3

The Church …

The Church is God’s hope for the world!

Ephesians 1:22-23, Ephesians 2:22, Matthew 28:19-20

Leadership …

God has provided spiritual leaders to those who teach and lead the congregation to minister to spiritual and material needs in and outside the local church.

Ephesians 4:11-16, 2 Corinthians 13:10, Romans 12:8, Hebrews 13:17

Eternity …

Man was created to live forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin [Hell] or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation [Heaven].

Romans 6:23, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelations. 20: 14-15
