Who we are
Located in Lexington, Nebraska, Calvary Assembly is a church for the whole family. It is a local church affiliated with the Assemblies of God, an international fellowship of evangelical churches.
We exist to give opportunities for people to encounter Christ and experience life change.
Lead pastors
Rex and amy adams
Rex and Amy Adams have been the Lead Pastors at Calvary Assembly since 2010. They have two children, Makayla and Josiah. Rex and Amy met at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and were married in 2001. They were youth and lead pastors for 8 years in Missouri and Colorado before moving to Nebraska.
Rex enjoys reading and riding motorcycles, Amy enjoys cooking and crafts.
Family life pastors
Kenny and adrienne schwarz
Kenny and Adrienne Schwarz have been the Family Life Pastors at Calvary since 2013. Kenny grew up in Lexington, Adrienne in Missouri and they got married in 2010 after meeting at a Kid's Camp in Lexington. They have two daughters, Vivian and Adeline. Kenny enjoys golf and video games, and Adrienne loves to do craft projects.
Hispanic Ministries pastor
Maria guevara
Maria Guevara is the Hispanic Ministries Pastor at Calvary. She has been with Calvary since 2015, when the church she pastored merged with Calvary. Maria teaches fifth grade at Bryan Elementary, and she has three daughters, Jessica, Melissa, and Karen.
Children's Pastor
Amber Holbrook
Amber grew up in Lexington, graduating from Lexington High School before attending Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Texas. Amber serves as Children's Pastor and oversees Sunday morning and
Wednesday Children's services.
Administrative assistant
Cindy holbrook
Cindy Holbrook is the Administrative Assistant at Calvary. Cindy has attended Calvary since 1994 and has been on staff since 2012. She is married to Scott, and they have six children; Shelby, Amber, Daniel, Celeb, Carly and Christian.
